Cheerleading

Saints Cheerleading is inclusive of all members. The club offers beginner friendly development sessions, as well as the opportunity to try out for the competitive teams. We currently train stunt (Levels 1, 2 and 3) and pom.

University of St Andrews Cheerleading Club

The club welcomes anyone from any background to join as they work through training and routines for all experience.

The Cheerleading Club was established in 2006 and has since grown exponentially in both size and success. Competitive cheerleading is a fun and energetic mix of stunting, dance, jumps and gymnastics. Find out more about the clubs 2021-22 season and the teams experience here.

We currently offer a Level 2 stunt team, performing a 2:30 minute routine combining stunts, tumbling, dance, and jumps. Our pom team showcases a 2:15 minute cheer-style dance routine with poms, while our group stunt (GS) teams (made up of 4–5 athletes) deliver 1:30 minute routines focused exclusively on stunting. With such a wide variety, there’s truly something for everyone, and our development classes are just as rewarding for those looking to build skills at their own pace.
